 | SolAce EMC Product Overview | |

What is SolAce EMC
SolAce Electronic Medical Claims (EMC) is a Direct plus Clearinghouse hybrid
connectivity solution to facilitate easy and inexpensive electronic HIPAA transactions.
SolAce is very much like a traditional clearinghouse in terms of what it does for you.
It is a web-based electronic billing solution that is designed to work seamlessly with
existing provider and payer systems to deliver claims and reports.
SolAce EMC is a clearinghouse hybrid because it enables both direct
and clearinghouse claim submission in HIPAA compliant formats, providing
an unmatched level of control to you the submitter. Using SolAce EMC you can:
 |
|
Import claims from CMS-1500 or UB-04 print files, CSV data files,
or legacy NSF and UB92 v6.0 formats. |
 |
|
Perform direct data entry of CMS-1500 or UB-04 claims and use
built-in patient and provider databases to speed keying. |
 |
|
Verify and correct claims in real-time to ensure accurate submission
the first time. |
 |
|
Automatically generate, transmit, and track HIPAA compliant transactions
and acknowledgments. |
 |
|
View and print electronic payer reports and electronic remittance
advices (ERAs). |
SolAce EMC utilizes Rich Thin Client technology to pop out of your web browser as a first-class desktop application
that is far more productive to use than a clearinghouse web portal. Although a larger initial download occurs than
a traditional web site would incur, SolAce EMC works faster and with less network overhead because it doesn't have
to regenerate entire web pages every time you perform a function.
