SSN Removal Initiative 2019
The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) requires CMS to remove Social Security Numbers (SSNs) from all Medicare cards by April 2019. A new randomly generated Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI) will replace the SSN-based Health Insurance Claim Number (HICN) on new Medicare cards for transactions like billing, eligibility status, and claim status.Providers may click here for more detailed information.

I-Search is AXIOM Systems' newest tool that will allow users to perform ICD9 to ICD10 translations, ICD10 to ICD9 translations, and to do lookups of ICD9 & ICD10 codes and descriptions.
I-Search is a powerful and intuitive tool that will allow you to look for codes by entering either the full code or first characters of a code. You may also enter a single word or a series of words in one line to search for words in a code's textual description. You may also search by a standard medical abbreviation, such as URI or MRI (Note: proper medical terminology must be used when searching by text. For example, "cancer" is not a proper term, but "neoplasm" will be found.)

I think our medical office was one of the first to use SolAce in the mid 1990’s and we are still using it today for all of our electronic billing because it works ! It was simple for our staff to learn and it integrated easily with our accounting/billing program. It has been especially nice to know that the Axiom staff is there when Medicare changes something and they are right on it.
